Hey folks. It’s Sunday afternoon and I wasn’t going to post anything. I’m just kinda “grovin’” for the day. But then I read that a liberal blogging friend was/is highly offended at the cartoons featured in the New York Post that I’ll include in this post. John Liming, the liberal blogger wrote the following about some article he found at News Corpse …
I asked myself after reading the article, “Is this the America that I spent seven years and three months in uniform to defend?”
Then it occurred to me:
I am not reading about America here, I am reading about some really awful anomaly – - -some radical misapplication of what it is to be an American in the 21st Century.
These are not the attitudes that I grew up with and these are not the attitudes that I remember!
“Surely to God,” I opined as I re-read this again and again, “This kind of thing cannot be happening here in the Land that I love!”
But the sad fact is that I have been reading some other blogs on the Internet where this kind of thing would be more than welcome and might even be given top billing.
I call them “Hate Sites.”
I have read stuff like this from some folks on the far right edge of the political extreme in this country and they even seem to be proud of themselves for putting such unsettling and frankly “Trashy” ideas across to whatever gullible or naieve out there who are willing to listen.

Okay, personally I don’t see much wrong or racist with the cartoon on top. The bottom one is a bit tacky. “Racist”, I don’t know about that, but what the heck … I’m just a humble blogger.
My problem is liberals get bent out of shape and just aghast and sooooo offended at a damn cartoon … yet they don’t say a word, and I mean not one about these pictures … Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch … why? Because Barack Obama DID build the following:

What a disgusting mind-set. What a warped sense of feelings. What a perversion of real sympathy and heart felt sorrow. So sad about a stupid, tasteless cartoon … yet real murder of real Americans … oh yeah, “bumps in the road”. Sick people indeed.
